Pita Barn In Victorville California

On the very first night my honey and I were taken out to Pita Barn in Victorville California. I was real excited to to go right out to have some Greek food as there's always delicious vegan food to be had, and of course delicious meat for all who like to indulge in those flavors as well. We happily eat vegan most of the time, but there are few occasions that we do enjoy some meats here and there, however it's very rare. So upon getting there, super excited to be here with family, I went with my man, my step mama, my step mama's niece and her son, I was very excited to try their falafel plate, we had many choices of our sides, and base to the plate, they also had salad and wrap options as well. I had chose to have italian green beans, salad with tomato, cucumber and celery, and their spicy potatoes. My personal opinion, I've had falafel at Pita Pit back in Medford Oregon and they were very flavorful and delicious, I personally found the falafel pretty bland, it was all green on the inside, so maybe only one less flavorful ingredient rather than the many flavors I was used to, salad of course was delicious, I loved the spicy potatoes and italian green beans as well. There was also a sauce, I think kind of like a special flavored hummus, my mama called it "the ashtray spread," and boy they were not kidding! It had the distinct taste of an ashtray, yuck! She still loved it, but I couldn't get past that taste personally lol; there's a photo of it below with the red spice sprinkles on top. My mama always likes to get their lamb gyro, and her niece got a very delicious looking steak caesar salad. Overall, a wonderful experience, we really loved taking a look around at all the delicious looking items they have for sale in their restaurant before our meal was ready. I would have to say a real great environment and energy of the restaurant, I also LOVED the photography canvas they have as decor around the place, nice very large tables for big groups to go out and enjoy their food and atmosphere, overall just real great; I would certainly recommend that place!
